Photographic Assignments will not be revealed until the start of the course but a range of opportunities will available to make the most of them. They include sunsets and scenery, wildlife and safari, table top and still life, portraiture and people, available light and flash photography. Whatever your previous photographic experience and whatever your camera this course is designed for you.

Scott Hurd is a professional photographer and highly experienced, motivational teacher. He presents this “hands-on” course in a relaxed manner. Discussion and questions are encouraged in such a way that people can access it at their own photographic level. It is expected that participants will bring their own camera, its instruction book and a computer with Adobe Photoshop or Elements preloaded. A 30 day trial version of Photoshop CS5 or Elements 9 is available on Disk, a genuine Adobe key code can be purchased but is not essential. As much time as possible will be spent on practical photography and on image processing but there are plenty of opportunities to sit and chat “photography!” Help and advice is available as required.
